Cheesy Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tenders!!!

Bacon wrapped chicken breast is cheesy, salty, and the perfect weeknight dinner. I love making meals that put a smile on everyone’s faces when they hear that is what they are having. This delicious cheesy bacon chicken does just that! With only 5 ingredients and a 5-minute preparation, you will feel the bacon love in no time!

When you make this easy cheesy bacon chicken, rest assured that everyone is going to devour it. If you are hosting a dinner party or are just craving some good old fashioned comfort food, then this is the recipe for you. It’s super versatile and goes with all kinds of things.

My bacon wrapped chicken is a bit of a cheat. I’ve found that completely wrapping the chicken in bacon can leave you with soggy bacon on the bottom. It’s easier, and faster, to just lay the bacon on top of the chicken.

The hardest part of this chicken dinner is that you have to wait for it to cook and smell how amazing it is. You will be so hungry by the time it’s finished cooking. Here are the easy steps to get you started:

Ingredient

6-8 chicken tenders
6-8 slices of bacon
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 cup shredded monterey cheddar cheese
tony cachere’s cajun seasoning ( or a Cajun Seasoning of your choice)

Field Dogs 300 x 600

Directions:

Heat Foreman Grill (you may pan-fry also).
Sprinkle Cajun Seasoning generously on both sides of chicken.
Wrap a slice of bacon around each chicken tender.
Grill on the Foreman for 4 minutes (or pan fry 4 minutes each side).
In a separate pan, saute your onion and bell pepper in the 2 T butter.
Place chicken on top of sauteed vegetables.
Cover and cook on med/lo for 20 minutes.
Uncover (careful to watch for steam) and smother with the cheese.
Cover and cook 10 additional minutes.
Sprinkle with green onions.
