If you are looking for a yummy comfort food, you are in luck! This Crock Pot Cowpoke Casserole I adapted from Gooseberry Patch’s 303 ‘Round the Clock Recipes is super simple and so yummy! These flavors work perfectly together! You’re gonna love it!
Cook your ground beef with your onion and drain. Mix together your ground beef, salt and pepper to taste, chili powder, chili beans and tomato sauce in a large bowl. Pour your mixture into a 4-quart casserole crock. Mix together your cornbread mix, egg and milk. Pour evenly over your beef mixture. Place a couple of paper towels under your lid, cover and cook on high for two hours.
