- (8) eaches of bone-in and skin-on chicken thighs
- (1) pinch salt and ground black pepper
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
- (4) cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ¼ tsp dried thyme
- ¼ tsp dried basil
- Preheat oven 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Add and season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Add and melt 2 tbsp of butter in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, skin-side down, and sear until brown for 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove chicken to a plate.
