I’m not going to sit here and tell you that a bread dough you’ve taken time to knead and proof and fawn over isn’t a thing of beauty. It is. But sometimes you might not have the time, or you might not have access to all of the ingredients (like yeast!) you might need for such a dough. That’s where these No Yeast Dinner Rolls come in. They’re a five-ingredient dough that requires no kneading, no rising, and absolutely no fuss, but still turns out rolls that are fluffy and yummy enough to brighten up any meal.
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
Butter, for greasing tin
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a muffin tin with butter.
In a medium bowl, mix together all ingredients until thoroughly combined.
Spoon into prepared muffin tin and bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
Brush with melted butter if desired, and serve.
