Swig Cookie Blondies

 

Simple, easy and cheesy! My whole family loves this recipe so much. If it were for them, I’d be making this every day! Give it a shot, you’ll love it!
To Make this Recipe You’ Will Need the following ingredients:

 

Ingredients

BLONDIES:

  • 1cup unsalted buttersoftened to room temperature (2 sticks)
  • 3/4cup canola oil
  • 1 1/4cups sugar
  • 3/4cup powdered sugar
  • 1tbsp. water
  • 2large eggs
  • 1/2tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1tsp. sea salt
  • 5cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour(Bleached flour toughens baked goods)

 

SOUR CREAM ICING:

  • 1/2cup unsalted buttersoftened to room temperature (1 stick)
  • 3/4cup sour cream
  • 4 1/2cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4tsp. sea salt
  • 1tbsp. milk(or more if needed)
  • 1tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2drops red food coloring
  • rainbow sprinklesas desired

 

Instructions

BLONDIES:

  1. Cream together butter, canola oil, sugars, water, eggs, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt.
  2. Add flour and stir with a wooden spoon until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Spread dough into a 9×13” greased glass baking dish.
  4. Bake cookies at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Spread icing over top.
  7. Sprinkle with sprinkles.
  8. Allow icing to set up before cutting.
  9. Refrigerate blondies until ready to serve.

SOUR CREAM ICING:

  1. Cream butter with sour cream, vanilla and salt.
  2. Slowly add powdered sugar.
  3. When the ingredients get really thick add a tablespoon or so of the milk.
  4. Beat until the frosting reaches the desired consistency.
  5. Add 1-2 drops of red food coloring and mix with beater on high for 1 minute.
  6. Spread frosting on top of cooled blondies. Sprinkle with rainbow sprinkles.
  7. Allow icing to set up before storing blondies in the refrigerator.
  8. Cut into 24 bars.
