I have been wanting to make pasta but I was so afraid to fail. Making pasta is an art itself. And I am proud to say that I can make one myself! An excellent pasta that you can make from scratch and better than the store-bought noodles. Who would not want a fresh pasta made from the comfort of your home? No one, of course.
- 1 egg, beaten
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons water
- Step 1: Combine the flour and salt in a medium-sized bowl. Create a well in the center and add in the slightly beaten egg. Mix to form a stiff dough. You can add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water if needed.
- Step 2: Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Step 3: Roll out the dough using a pasta machine or your hands until you reached your desired thinness.
- Step 4: Cut the dough into strips of the desired width with a machine or knife.
